( يوم الفرقان )

فلنعلم أبنائنا محبة نبينا صلى الله عليه وسلم وتضحيات صحابته الأبرار

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

أقدم لإخواني الأعزاء هذه الهدية المتضمنة شرح بالصور ليوم الفرقان كما سماه الله جل في علاه سبحانه - (يوم الفرقان يوم التقى الجمعان).

غزوة بدر الكبرى .

يقول الله تعالى : ((وَلَقَدْ نَصَرَكُمْ اللَّهُ بِبَدْرٍ وَأَنْتُمْ أَذِلَّةٌ فَاتَّقُوا اللَّهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تَشْكُرُونَ ))

في السابع عشر من رمضان من السنة الثانية من الهجرة ، خرج النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم مع ثلاث مائة و بضع عشر من أصحابه ، قدم النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم من المدينة من هذا الطريق

عسكر النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم في هذه المنطقة ، و هذا الكثيب من الرمل هو العدوة الدنيا
المذكورة في قوله الله تعالى : (( إذ انتم بالعدوة الدنيا ... )) الآية

و لنأخذ جولة في المكان و لنتامل الصورة التالية

السهم الأيمن يؤشر على العدوة الدنيا و في سفحها معسكر المسلمين

السهم الأوسط يؤشر على طريق القوافل ، وهو الطرق الذي كان سيمر منه أبو سفيان بالقافلة

السهم الأيسر يؤشر على جبل الملائكة ( و لتسميته بجبل الملائكة قصة و سنذكرها لاحقا )

و أما المشركين و عددهم تسع مائة و خمسون فكانوا في العدوة القصوى ( المشار إليها بالسهم )
المذكورة في قوله تعالى : (( و هم بالعدوة القصوى ... )) الآية

و قبل بدء المعركة أتى الصحابي الجليل الحباب ن منذر إلى النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم و قال:يا رسول الله , هذا المنزل أمنزلاً أنزلكه الله ليس لنا أن نتقدمه ولا نتأخر عنه ؟ أم هو الرأي والحرب والمكيدة ؟ قال:" بل هو الرأي والحرب والمكيدة " قال:يا رسول الله , هذا ليس بمنزل . . ثم أشار بنزول قليب بدر بحيث تكون جميع أبار المياه خلف المسلمين فيشربون و لا يشرب المشركين . ونهض رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم فنزل على القليب ببدر

انتقل الجيش الإسلامي إلى هذا المكان تقريبا

المكان من زاوية أخرى ( و يظهر في الصورة العدوة الدنيا و جبل الملائكة و مكان المعسكر الجديد )

و بعد ذلك أشار سعد بن معاذ بمشورة فقال رضي الله عنه :إنا خلفنا من قومنا قوماً ما نحن بأشد حباً لك منهم , ولا أطوع لك منهم ; ولكن إنما ظنوا أنها العير . نبني لك عريشاً فتكون فيه , ونعد عندك رواحلك , ثم نلقى عدونا , فإن أعزنا الله وأظهرنا على عدونا كان ذلك ما أحببناه , وإن تكن الأخرى جلست على رواحلك فلحقت من وراءنا . . فقال له النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم خيراً . وقال:" أو يقضي الله خيراً من ذلك يا سعد " .

فبني لنبي صلى الله عليه و سلم عريشا . و المكان معروف إلى الآن و بني في مكان العريش مسجد يسمى

دعا النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم من العريش بالنصرة للمسلمين و ألح على الله في الدعاء
حتى أكرم الله هذه الأمة بحدث عظيم لم يحدث من قبل و لا من بعد حيث نزلت الملائكة على هذا الجبل

( جبل الملائكة و ذلك سبب التسمية )

يقول الله تعالى عن هذا الحدث : (( إذ تستغيثون ربكم , فاستجاب لكم أني ممدكم بألف من الملائكة مردفين . وما جعله الله إلا بشرى , ولتطمئن به قلوبكم , وما النصر إلا من عند الله , إن الله عزيز حكيم ))
وأمد الله نبيه صلى الله عليه و سلم بألف من الملائكة , فكان جبريل في خمسمائة مجنبة , وميكائيل في خمسمائة مجنبة " . .
قال ابن إسحاق:وقد خفق رسول الله صلى الله عليه و سلم خفقة وهو في العريش , ثم انتبه , فقال:" أبشر يا أبا بكر , أتاك نصر الله . هذا جبريل آخذاً بعنان فرس يقوده , على ثناياه النقع "يعني الغبار .

الله اكبر الله أكبر .... فلنتخيل إخواني الأعزاء قوة المنظر جيش الملائكة بقيادة سيد الملائكة جبريل عليه السلام قادم إلى ارض المعركة لينظم إلى جيش المؤمنين بقيادة خير البشر صلى الله عليه و سلم.

في الحديث :جاء جبريل إلى النبي صلى الله عليه و سلم فقال : ما تعدون أهل بدر فيكم ؟ قال:" من أفضل المسلمين " - أو كلمة نحوها - قال:" وكذلك من شهد بدراً من الملائكة " . . . [ انفرد بإخراجه البخاري ] . . .
و ما هي الا فترة يسيرة تقدر بساعتين فقط ، حتى انتهت المعركة بنصر و إعزاز للمسلمين و هزيمة ساحقة للكفر و أهله

استشهد أربع عشر صحابي ، دفن ثلاث عشرة منه في بدر ( مقبرة الشهداء ) و واحد دفن في الطريق بين بدر و المدينة المنورة حيث انه أصيب في الغزوة و لم يمت إلا في طريق العودة.

مكان قبور الصحابة ( كما واضح في من السهم )

أما المشركين فقد قتل جميع ساداتهم و رموا في قليب بدر ( بئر جاف)

نختم بهذه الصورة لمدينة بدر القديمة

ختاماً أسال الله أن يعيد لامتنا الإسلامية أمجادها و ينصرنا على أعداء الدين ، و أن يجعلنا من العاملين لهذا الدين حق العمل بصدق الدعوة اليه و نشر قيمه السامية بين الناس و ان نضحي في سبيل ذلك بكل ما نملك ، كما ضحى رسولنا الكريم صلى الله عليه و سلم و صحابته الكرام

اللهم اغفر لي ولوالدي وللمؤمنين والمؤمنات وتب عليهم وارحمهم برحمتك اللهم آمين

A Beautiful Hadith

Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said:

'When a man dies and his relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome man by his head. When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in between the shroud and the chest of the deceased. When after the burial, the people return home, 2 angels, Munkar and Nakeer (names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to separate this handsome man so that they may be able to interrogate the dead man in privacy about his faith. But the handsome man says, 'He is my companion, he is my friend. I will not leave him alone in any case..If you are appointed for interrogation, do your job. I cannot leave him until I get him admitted into Paradise.'

Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says,

'I am the Qur'an, which you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a low voice. Do not worry. After the interrogation of Munkar and Naker, you will have no grief.'When the interrogation is over, the handsome man arranges for him from Al-Mala'ul A'laa
(the angels in Heaven) silk bedding filled with musk.

Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said: 'On the Day of Judgement, before Allah, no other Intercessor will have a greater status than the Qur'an, neither a Prophet nor an angel.'

Please keep forwarding this 'Hadith' to all ....because Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said:

'Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse'.

Exhibition of historic remains from Makka in Makkah Al-Mukarramah
The exhibition building is located close to the Kiswa factory (Kaaba cover) on Old Makkah Jeddah road

The purpose is to protect the important remains from the two holy masjids. It has 7 exhibition halls which contain several remains as well as old/new photographs.

This is the reception where the pilgrims are explained about the building of the holy masjids and the extensions/renovati ons it witnessed.

Masjidul-Haram Exhibition hall that contains historical remains of which is this Staircase to Kaba which is from the year 1240 Hijri

This is the old covering for Maqame-Ibrahim until it was replaced during the time of Late King Fahad bin Abdulaziz L.A

These are the crests from minarets of Haram from 1299 Hijri.

This is the plinth of Kaba made from wood, covered with gold plates and filled with lead from inside “ it dates back to 1273 Hijri

This is the door of Kaba which was erected during the time of
Ottoman Sultan Murad Khan (the IVth) dating back to 1045 Hijri and it is made from wood, covered with silver and plated with gold.

The above door was replaced by the following door during the time of King Abdulaziz in the year 1363 Hijri.

These are the casings of Hajre-Aswad one of which is from the time of Sultan Murad Khan and other one from the Saudi times.

In the photographic exhibition there are photographs from the 12^th Century Hijri.

And here is a shadow system that was installed over Zamzam for calculating prayers timing ? it dates back to 1023 Hijri

Guidance from The Prophet (peace be upon him)

Hadrat Aishah (r.a.), the mother of the believers, said: �I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) about random looks in Salaat (prayer), and the Prophet

�(peace be upon him) replied, "It is something which the Shaytaan snatches from the slave's Salaat.''

Related by Al-Bukhari.

Commentary:

Make no mistake, the evil and accursed Shaytaan is the avowed enemy of man, and he will leave no stone unturned in his striving to take as many of the children of Adam as possible with him to the Fire of Hell!

If the Shaytaan is not successful at convincing the believer to give up his �salaat� and his worship altogether, at the very least this accursed enemy of man will try and steal something from it, so as to reduce its rewards.� The random looks here and there one perchance makes in one�s salaat, or the wandering thoughts which enter one�s mind while in salaat are amongst the work of the accursed Shaytaan!

Hadrat Abu Said Al-Khudri (r.a.) reported: �Certain people of the Ansar asked the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) and he (peace be upon him) gave them; then they again asked him (saws), and he (saws) gave them until all what the Prophet (peace be upon him) �possessed was exhausted. Then the Prophet (peace be upon him) said,

"Whatever wealth I have, I will not withhold from you. Whosoever would be chaste and modest, Allah will keep him chaste and modest; and whosoever would seek self-sufficiency, Allah will make him self-sufficient; and whosoever would be patient, Allah will give him patience; and no one is granted a gift better and more comprehensive than patience."�

Related by Bukhari and Muslim. A�hadith quoted from Riyad-us-Saliheen.

Commentary:

No human being who was blessed to walk on this earth was more noble, or more generous, or more kind than the self of the Noble Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) guided the believers that if one strives to be chaste and modest, Allah Subhanah would help the person remain chaste and modest; and if one strives to be self-sufficient from all except the Lord, the Lord Most Gracious would help make him self-sufficient and content; and whosoever strives to remain patient in the face of affliction and adversity, the Lord Most Merciful would bestow upon such a person the gift of patience�.and there is none more fortunate that one unto whom the Lord Most Gracious has bestowed with the invaluable gift of patience.

Hadrat Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas (r.a.) reported: �The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said,

"Successful is the one who has entered the fold of Islam and is provided with sustenance which is sufficient for his needs, and Allah makes him content with what He has bestowed upon him.''.

Related by Muslim.

Commentary:

To be contented with the independent subsistence (Kafaf) has been counted a merit by the Prophet (PBUH) because this prevents one from begging of people. The A�hadith points out the excellence of those people who remain satisfied with their limited resources and do not beg of people. Being content with adequate livelihood has its own merits because affluence often makes a man proud, whereas penury lowers his image in the eyes of people. Yet adequate livelihood has no room for the pitfalls of the two other situations.

Usamah bin Zaid (r.a.) narrated: ‘The daughter of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) sent for him as her child was dying, but the Prophet (peace be upon him) returned the messenger and sent her good wishes saying, "Whatever Allah takes away or gives, belongs to Him, and everything with Him has a limited fixed term (in this world), and so she should be patient and anticipate Allah's reward.''

She again sent for him adjuring him for the sake of Allah to come. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him), accompanied with Hadrat Saad bin Ubadah, Hadrat Muadh bin Jabal, Hadrat Ubayy bin Kaab, Hadrat Zaid bin Thabit and some other companions (r.a.) went to see her. The child was lifted up to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while his breath was disturbed in his chest. On seeing that, the eyes of the Prophet (peace be upon him) streamed with tears. Hadrat Saad (r.a.) commented "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! What is this?'' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) replied, "It (the tears) are compassion which Allah has placed in the hearts of His slaves! Allah is Compassionate only to those among His slaves who are compassionate (to others)".

Related by Al-Bukhari and Muslim.

Commentary:

Gathering of all the relatives is not necessary at the time of someone's death. However, their participation in the funeral prayer is Mustahab Fard Kifayah (a desirable collective duty upon all Muslims; but which is sufficient or equivalent to all having performed it if it is performed by only some of them).

However, their participation in the funeral prayer is Mustahab Fard Kifayah (a desirable collective duty upon all Muslims; but which is sufficient or equivalent to all having performed it if it is performed by only some of them).
To shed tears on at a loved one’s death, and to exhort the relatives of the deceased for patience and accountability are permissible acts.
Expression of kindness and love is a gift from Allah and means to gain His Compassion, while deprivation from it is callousness.

Guidance from The Prophet (Peace be upon him)

Usamah bin Zaid (r.a.) narrated: 'The daughter of the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) sent for him as her child was dying, but the Prophet (peace be upon him) returned the messenger and sent her good wishes saying, "Whatever Allah takes away or gives, belongs to Him, and everything with Him has a limited fixed term (in this world), and so she should be patient and anticipate Allah's reward.''

She again sent for him adjuring him for the sake of Allah to come. The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him), accompanied with Hadrat Saad bin Ubadah, Hadrat Muadh bin Jabal, Hadrat Ubayy bin Kaab, Hadrat Zaid bin Thabit and some other companions (r.a.) went to see her. The child was lifted up to the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) while his breath was disturbed in his chest. On seeing that, the eyes of the Prophet (peace be upon him) streamed with tears. Hadrat Saad (r.a.) commented "O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! What is this?'' The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) replied, "It (the tears) are compassion which Allah has placed in the hearts of His slaves! Allah is Compassionate only to those among His slaves who are compassionate (to others)".

Commentary:

Gathering of all the relatives is not necessary at the time of someone's death. However, their participation in the funeral prayer is Mustahab Fard Kifayah (a desirable collective duty upon all Muslims; but which is sufficient or equivalent to all having performed it if it is performed by only some of them).
To shed tears on at a loved one's death, and to exhort the relatives of the deceased for patience and accountability are permissible acts.
Expression of kindness and love is a gift from Allah and means to gain His Compassion, while deprivation from it is callousness.

Commentary:

When one returns from a journey and sees one's town's highlights, he should start reciting the invocation mentioned in this Hadith till he enters the city. These phrases express gratitude to Allah Subhanah for the safe return to one's hometown; they also express repentance, obedience and determination to worship Allah.

It is from amongst the preferred Sunnah of the Messenger of Allah (saws) to:

To observe optional fasts for three days in every month

Just as the Gates of Mercy, and Grace, and the Forgiveness of the Lord Most Merciful are opened when one fears and obeys their Lord Creator; when one indulges in the prohibited, it ignites the Unbearable Wrath, and the Anger, and the Rage of the Lord Most Majestic, Most Supreme.

In the life of this transient world, how careful is one never to ignite the wrath or anger of one's employer or the government or the ruler, fearing that those in authority have the power to harm them. How careful then should one be when The Authority Whose Anger is provoked at the commission of their sin is the Supreme and Majestic Lord of the Worlds Himself???

One's heart is always open to trouble, turmoil, and ordeals as one drifts from one situation or trial to another. If one is not supported by Allah Subhanah, one can easily deviate from the Right Path at any moment.

That is precisely why even the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) would constantly supplicate his Lord Most Gracious to save his heart from turning towards evil and keep it steadfast towards the Path of Allah, for it is Allah Subhanah Alone Who has the Absolute Power to control the hearts of His slaves.

Dr.Tarig Al Swaidan discovered some verses in the

Holy Qur'an

That mention one thing is equal to another,

i.e. men are equal to women.

Although this makes sense grammatically,

the astonishing fact is that the number of

times the word man appears in

the Holy Qur'an

Hadrat Salman Al-Farisi (r.a.) reported: "The Messenger of Allah (Peace Be Upon Him) said, "If a man takes a bath on Friday, purifies himself thoroughly, uses oil and perfume which is available in the house, sets forth for the masjid, does not (forcibly) sit between two persons, offers the prayer that is prescribed for him and listens to the Imam silently, his sins between this Friday and the previous Friday will be forgiven.''

Commentary:

If a believer fulfills the above listed conditions, all his (minor) sins between the past Friday and this Friday will be forgiven by Allah Subhanah. As regards one's major sins, only the act of 'taubah' or sincere repentance forgives one's major sins.

Commentary:

To be contented with the independent subsistence (Kafaf) has been counted a merit by the Prophet (PBUH) because this prevents one from begging of people. The Hadith points out the excellence of those people who remain satisfied with their limited resources and do not beg of people. Being content with adequate livelihood has its own merits because affluence often makes a man proud, whereas penury lowers his image in the eyes of people. Yet adequate livelihood has no room for the pitfalls of the two other situations.

Commentary:

Some people think that fasts entails merely the abstention from food, drink, and sexual intercourse. But when one is in a state of observing fasts for the Pleasure of Allah, one is required to abstain from using obscene or foul language, false conduct, quarrels, disputes, etc.; and if someone reviles him or tries to quarrel with him, he should politely declare 'I am observing fast (for the Pleasure of Allah)' and leave that person alone.

In another narration the Messenger of Allah (saws) declared: 'Some people get nothing (no rewards) for their fasts except hunger and thirst.'

Hadrat Abu Umamah Iyas bin Thalabah Al-Harithi (r.a.) said: 'The Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "He who misappropriates the right of a Muslim by taking a false oath, Allah will condemn him to the Fire of Hell and will forbid Paradise for him.'' A person asked: "O Messenger of Allah (saws) even if it is something insignificant?'' He (saws) replied, "Yes, even if it is the twig of the Arak tree!''

Commentary

To intentionally misappropriate or unjustly usurp the lawful right of a believer is a grave sin by itself; to do so by taking a false oath in the Blessed Name of Allah Subhanah is an abomination and a crime beyond compare!!! The Messenger of Allah (saws) declared that the Lord Most Majestic Most Supreme will take full retribution from such evildoers on the Day of Judgment, forbid Paradise for them, and condemn them to the Fire of Hell.

Debt of deceased

Hadrat Abu Hurairah (r.a.) reported: 'The Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "The soul of the deceased believer remains pending on account of the debt till it (the debt) is repaid.''

Commentary:

The Divine decision regarding the redemption or punishment of a deceased person remains suspended till the time its debt, if any, is paid off. The heirs, family, loved ones, and/or the believers in general must give priority to settle the debts (if any) of their deceased brethren as soon as possible.

Such was the importance given by the Messenger of Allah (saws) to the settling of the debts (if any) of a deceased companion, that he (saws) would refuse to offer the funeral prayer and seek forgiveness for the deceased, until someone paid off its debts.

** Spend what is beyond one's needs

Commentary:

Time and time again, Allah and His Messenger (saws) have exhorted the believers to spend in the Cause and for the Pleasure of Allah the surplus wealth which is beyond their needs. The hoarding of wealth is absolutely detestable to Allah Subhanah.

In another narration the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: "Indeed there is a right (for poor) in your wealth in addition to (the obligatory) Zakah.''

Hadrat Anas ibn Malik (r.a.), the servant of the Messenger of Allah (saws) narrated: 'The Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "Verily, Allah is more pleased with the repentance of His slave than a person who has lost his camel in a waterless desert carrying his provision of food and drink. He, having lost all hopes (to get his camel and provisions back), lies down in shade and is disappointed about his (lost) camel; when all of a sudden he finds that camel standing before him. He takes hold of its reins and then out of boundless joy blurts out: 'O Allah, You are my slave and I am Your lord. He commits this mistake out of extreme joy."'

Related by Muslim. quoted from Riyad-us-Saliheen (Hadith # 15)

Commentary:

Nothing pleases Allah Subhanah more than a person who has transgressed the prescribed limits of Allah, and that person realizing his error turns unto his Lord and Creator in 'taubah', and seeks sincere forgiveness for his sins.

In another narration, the Messenger of Allah (saws) said: 'All of the children of Adam are sinners, and the best (or most loved by Allah) of those sinners are those who constantly seek repentance.'

Regardless of the quantity or the quality of the sins one might have committed in one's past, if one turns back unto their Lord Most Merciful and seeks sincere repentance, Allah Subhanah has promised to forgive all the sins of His repentant slaves.

Kufr Or Disbelief In Sight of Allah Subhanah

Hadrat Abu Dharr al-Ghaffari (r.a.) reported: 'I heard the Messenger of Allah (saws) saying: "A person who attributes his fatherhood to anyone other than his real father, knowing that he is not his father, commits an act of disbelief. And he who makes a claim of anything which in fact does not belong to him, is none of us. He should make his abode in Hell, and he who labels anyone as disbeliever or calls him the enemy of Allah and he is in fact not so, his charge will revert to him.'''

Commentary:

Amongst the grave sins which would be tantamount to an act of 'kufr' or disbelief in the Sight of Allah Subhanah are:

1. To intentionally attribute one's lineage or fatherhood to a person who is not one's biological father.

2. To falsely claim something which one knows does not rightfully belong to them.

3. To label or accuse a true believer of disbelief, or accuse them of being an enemy of Allah.

An Ustaz (scholar) in Islaamic Studies is saying that there are idols inside the Kabah and that too placed by Muhammad (saw) himself!?!?!
This clearly shows that the author is deliberately trying to spread misinformation about Islaam and wants to convey to possible reverts to Islaam that it is religion of idol worship.
In fact most of the Christian sites use this tactic of false convert stories but it's not always possible to prove it

For Islamic Education, I had to study about marriage in detail to do well. So, I learnt all the stuff and got the highest grade anyone can get for Islamic Education. And guess what? is being distributed in Kuwait , titled 'The True
Furqan'. It is being described as the ayats of the
Shaytan and Al-Furqan weekly magazine has found out
that the two American printing companies;'Omega 2001'
and 'Wine Press' are involved in the publishing of
'The True Furqan', a book which has also been titled
'The 21st Century Quran'! It is over 366 pages and is
inboth the Arabic and English languages...it is being
distributed to our children in Kuwait in the private

English schools! The book contains 77 Surats, which
include Al-Fatiha, Al-Jana and Al-Injil. Instead of
Bismillah, each Surat begins with a longer vesion of
this incorporating the Christian belief of the three
spirits.

And
this so! called Quran opposes many Islamic
beliefs. in one of its ayats it describes having more
than one wife as fornication, divorce being
non-permissable and it uses a new system for the
sharing out of the will, opposing the current one. It
states that Jihad is HARAAM.

This book even goes as far as attacking Allah,
Subhanahu wa Tahala!

All this is poisoning our children at approx. $3.

Guidance from The Prophet (saws)

Hadrat Abdullah Ibn Umar (r.a.) said: 'The Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "Allah has prohibited you from taking an oath by your fathers. He who must take an oath, may do so by swearing in the Name of Allah or he should remain silent.'''
Related by Bukhari and Muslim. quoted from Riyad-us-Saliheen (Hadith # 1707)

Commentary:

It is absolutely and categorically prohibited and forbidden for a believer who sincerely believes in Allah and the Last Day to take an oath in the name of one's father (or absolutely anything in creation)….for an oath can only be taken in the Blessed Name of Allah Subhanah, for He Alone is Truly a Witness to everything.

In another authentic narration the Messenger of Allah (saws) declared: 'He who takes an oath by anyone or anything other than Allah, has indeed committed an act of 'Kufr' (disbelief) or 'shirk' (polytheism).'

Commentary:

The Messenger of Allah (saws) preferred to make supplications which were short and general in nature, but wholesome and comprehensive in its meanings.

Huda: Guidance towards virtue, ability to do good deeds, and remain steadfast on the Straight Path of Allah Subhanah.

Tuqa: To comply wholeheartedly with the Commands of Allah and to prevent oneself from what the Lord has forbidden is 'taqwa' (piety, or the fear of Allah).

Afafa: means prevention from sins and also means evasion from seeking help from others.

Ghina: enough sustenance which makes one independent of all others except Allah Subhanah.

Hadrat Sahl bin Saad (r.a.) reported: 'The Messenger of Allah (saws) said to Hadrat Ali (r.a.) ibn Abi Taalib: "By Allah, if a single person is guided by Allah through you, it will be better for you than a whole lot of red camels.''

Related by Bukhari and Muslim. quoted from Riyad-us-Saliheen (Hadith # 1379)

Commentary:

A 'red-camel' was the absolute most prized worldly possession during those time in Arabia.

The hadith signifies the importance and merits of inviting people towards the Truth of Islam….even if only one person is guided by Allah to the Truth of Islam through one's efforts, that would be better for one than all the wealth of this earth!

Guidance from The Prophet (saws)

Hadrat Aishah (r.a.), the mother of the believers, reported: 'The Messenger of Allah (saws) never omitted four rakah (voluntary) prayer before the 'dhuhr' prayer and the two rakah (voluntary) prayer before dawn (Fajr) prayer.'
Related by Bukhari. quoted from Riyad-us-Saliheen (Hadith # 1100)

Commentary:

Amongst the 'nafl' or extra prayers which the Prophet (saws) never failed to offer were the four-rakah voluntary prayers before the obligatory 'dhuhr' prayer and the two-rakah voluntary prayer before the obligatory 'fajr' prayer.

These six-rakahs are amongst the twelve rakahs of what is known as the Sunnah Muaqqedah prayers which the Prophet (saws) almost never ever missed. The other Sunnah Muaqqedah prayers other than the ones listed above are:

1. two-rakahs after the obligatory 'dhuhr' prayer.

2. two-rakahs after the obligatory 'magrib' prayer.

3. and two-rakahs after the obligatory 'isha' prayer.

Hadrat Abu Saeed Al-Khudri (r.a.) reported: 'The Messenger of Allah (saws) said, "When a dead body is placed on a bier and men carry it on their shoulders, if the body is of one who was pious, it says: `Take me in haste.' But if the body is of one who was impious, it says to its bearers: `Woe to it. Where are you taking it?' Everything except mankind hears its voice. Had a human-being heard its voice, he would have surely fallen into a swoon.''

Commentary:

What exactly happens after death is obviously from amongst the knowledge of the 'unseen'; and that knowledge is known to none save Allah Subhanah Alone. Allah Subhanah makes known to His Messengers what He Wills and Pleases from amongst the knowledge of the 'unseen'.

When one who is pious is taken for its burial, it wishes to hasten towards its final destination of good; but when one who is impious is taken for its burial it wails and laments and pleads and implores the bearers of its body to not place it in its grave…for it knows well what punishments lie in wait for it!

Everyone and everything except man and Jinns can hear the lamentation of this evil soul; and in another hadith the Messenger of Allah (saws) declared that if man could hear the lamentation of the impious in their graves, man would stop burying the deceased amongst them!

May Allah Subhanah have Mercy on the believers, and save them from the trials of the grave and the trials of the Hell Fire. Ameen.

** Silk

Commentary:

In light of the other authentic hadiths of the Prophet (saws), the believing women are permitted to wear silk garments; but the believing men who sincerely fear Allah and the Last Day are absolutely and categorically forbidden to adorn themselves with silk clothes or garments in the life of this world.

They will make vows but will not fulfill them, and obesity will prevail among them.'''
